AZ Program (6 Weeks)

Duration: 250 Hours over 6 Weeks (1 week Theory, 5 weeks Practical)

AZ Truck Driving Program Course Objectives

This program includes all mandatory objectives set forth in the Ministry of Transportation’s Commercial Truck Driver Training Standard (Class A), released July 2016, plus additional objectives that exceeds the minimum standard.

Admission Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older, Must have minimum Grade 10 English (or equivalent), Must hold a valid Ontario Class G license or Higher, MTO Medical that meets the vision, hearing and medical requirements for a class A licence, Drivers Abstract.

This AZ Truck Driving program includes both classroom and practical training. The hands-on training takes place in the yard and on the road using a tractor-trailer, while under the instruction of a qualified trainer. Students will also engage in various classroom activities to help prepare for a career as a professional driver.
